DOG Poo Bags

I once went on a date where Watson came with us for a walk along the coast.

Naturally, Watson decided this was the perfect moment to do a poo.

I thought absolutely nothing of it. I pulled out a bag, picked it up and kept talking while we walked towards the next bin.

Then I looked at my date's face.

He was mortified.

Apparently carrying a tied poo bag while walking around on a date was worse than just leaving your dog's poo behind.

There wasn't a second date.

If someone got the ick watching me clean up after my dog, I got the ick thinking they believed leaving their mess for somebody else was acceptable.

But there was another reason I wasn't remotely bothered carrying it.

These bags were brilliant.

They smelled like vanilla, were thick enough that I wasn't terrified of accidentally putting a finger through one, and roomy enough to get your whole hand around a large dog's poo without getting dangerously close to the edges.

And they had handles.

You could tie the whole thing securely and carry it until you found a bin without feeling like you were walking around holding an unexploded biological weapon.

Dog ownership isn't always glamorous.
