Having a dog is remarkably similar to having a child when you go anywhere.
You don't just pack for yourself.
You pack for them too.
Beach days with Watson meant I already had my own enormous towel, water and everything else we'd somehow accumulated for the day.
The last thing I wanted was another giant wet towel taking up half the car.
That's why I loved his DOG by Dr Lisa towel.
It wrapped around him almost like a little hoodie.
After Watson came out of the ocean, I'd put it on him and it would keep drying him while we made our way back to the car.
It meant less wet dog through the car, I couldn't accidentally leave his towel behind somewhere, and it didn't require carrying another enormous beach towel.
There was also the completely impractical benefit:
Watson looked ridiculously cute strutting around in it.
Sometimes the best dog products aren't revolutionary.
